I can't believe this has already come to an end. I can't believe a month has already passed, it felt like nothing, but I think it's a good thing because it means I enjoyed my time here and I had fun. It is like that. I had so much fun, I made so mis amigos y yo en el restaurante después de pedir algunos platos típicos italianos many new friends, I had an amazing family and amazing teachers. I am so grateful to have lived this experience: I will never forget this and I will miss everyone so much. I am so happy and lucky to have met all the people I've met here. On Wednesday, we went to eat at the "Tagliatella", which is an Italian restaurant so I could judge the food there and, to my surprise, it was really good. I almost felt like I was in Italy.  On my last day, I went to school for the first three hours. It has been an amazing journey. I've met wonderful people, from people my age to teachers. I've loved every minute of my experience and I am so hap

¿Y que pasa con la escuela?

Aquí tienes un ejemplo de las pinturas en los pasillos. personalmente me encantan y es una buena idea. Desde el primer día los he visto y los miro siempre I've realised I still need to talk about the school specifically... Like I said previously, I love the relationship students have with their teachers. Still, I also like two other aspects I noticed during my classes: the first one is that teachers give students a lot of projects like videos, researches, presentations, podcasts or just make exercises in class that they will have to hand over to the teacher so they give them a mark; of course, they do written tests too but adopting these methods can lighten the stress for written tests and make it more interesting and different for students. Then I really appreciate how teachers are sort of "divided" into departments and, for example, the Maths department organises a trip related to the subject or to see cultural historical things. I really like the idea and I wish in Ita

Un fantástico viernes tarde y noche

Bea, Claudia y yo en Dunkin' comiendo nuestras donuts. Les enseñé un poco de italiano también :) On Friday after school we went to the shopping centre: Aitana and other girls went again to see Taylor Swift's movie while Claudia, Bea and I spent the afternoon in the shopping centre talking and gossiping. We went all together to Dunkin' because I had never tried it before and the donuts were really cute and good. Before this, Bea and I went to Jose Louis, a jewellery shop, to buy matchy rings to have a memory of this experience and to bond our friendship even more. I'm very happy I've met her and that we became friends so easily because she is a wonderful girl. When the movie ended, we joined the others and had dinner a Burger King. It has been a lovely day and I had so much fun. I feel like I'm closer to everyone now even more.💖

Un fin de semana largo aquí en España!

Esto es lo que comimos: tortillas con pollo y pimientospara poner dentro de la tortilla  During this weekend I've done a lot of things: on Thursday we went to have dinner at Aitana's parents' friends' house it is a family: the mother is from Peru and the father is Dutch. She cooked typical Peruvian and Mexican food and her husband made the greatest guacamole I've ever eaten in my life. It has been a lovely night and the food was so good for sure! Somos Aitana y yo frente a la posada de la película con el cartel que regalaban cuando comprabas la entrada Then, the next day in the afternoon we went to see Taylor Swift's movie. The film shows a concert of one of her dates on the tour she is doing. It was amazing and the room sang along to all the songs and it felt like I was actually in the concert. Needless to say at the end of the movie, I had no voice and I currently don't have it. After the film, we went to eat at the shopping centre with some friends. Aitan

Otra semana de escuela ha pasado...

Mis apuntes de Lengua Castellana y algunas tareas de Economía y Matemáticas Another week has passed and everything is going really good at school. I'm very at ease in this school and all the teachers are very kind to me and try to help me in every way. Also, my classmates are great: they are funny and involve me in their conversations. I've also met many great people who are not in my class, not only Aitana's friends but other girls from other classes. I also feel more confident with the language: just today I had a small presentation of Economics in Spanish and I feel like I did great and I'm so proud of this. It's surely a small step but it's the way to start to speak the language. Also, I've noticed improvements while I write the language: during Lengua Castellana lessons, the teacher dictates the notes and at the beginning, I couldn't write so many words he said and I didn't get some words, but I noticed that in the past lessons, I could write al

Tantos cumpleaños...

Celebrando el cumpleaños de Aitana con sus amigos y sus padres.  This weekend has been full of birthdays! On the 7th of October was Aitana's mother's birthday: in the morning we went to her hometown to have breakfast with some of her relatives and I tried churros, even though I'm not a fan of fried food, they were good. Then, the same evening, we celebrated Aitana's birthday: she invited over some friends and we ate pizza all together. She opened the presents and she was so happy. Then we went to a disco where we danced and sang all together. While on Sunday, we went to the countryside to have lunch with other relatives. It has been a lovely weekend. Happy birthday to the best host sister I could ever ask💜

La escuela (casi) de los sueños

En la clase de patrimonio cultural y artístico Andalucia cuando el profesor faltaba, claramente ;) It's almost two weeks of school now and I've noticed a lot of differences. Apart from the building, which is much bigger and more modern than Tesauro, how everything works is very different. The first biggest difference, for me, is the relationship between the teacher and the student: here, it is almost like a friendship, the professors are like a friend you can talk to, while in Italy we keep the relationship very "professional", also marked by the fact that we need to call them by their surnames. Then, in Italy, there's a sort of "dress code": it's very rare to see girls wearing shorts when it gets hotter, while here they can put on everything they want. One last weird difference I've noticed is that here when you ask to go to the bathroom, the teachers give you a sort of card, while in Italy you just ask and go. In my opinion, the Spanish schoo
